When I first started an online storefront for Prairie Sage Soap, I had no idea what to expect. Selling our handmade soaps online has been a huge learning experience for the owner, Trisha, as well as for myself. The past few days I have worked closely with Trisha on a new and improved experience for Prairie Sage Soap customers, and today I am excited to announce the newly redesigned PSSoap.com! We have made several changes and improvements to the site, and even more are in the pipeline. Let me explain a couple of the major ones.
While we enjoyed the bright colors of our previous design, there were a few problems that needed to be addressed. This new design directs more attention to our wonderful soaps, and less to bright backgrounds and flashy buttons. In the footer of our new website you will find it easy to follow us on your favorite social website, as well as sign up for our Newsletter (don't worry, no spam from us!). One of the things we are most excited about with this new design is the attention given to Mobile. With more and more people viewing our website from their phones and tablets, we wanted to make the experience just as simple and enjoyable on those devices as it is on a desktop or laptop computer. Now when you browse PSSoap.com from your mobile device you will find it easy to navigate around the site, view and purchase products, and contact us.
New Pages and Products
As you look around the site you will notice that virtually everything has been tweaked. From an easier to read About page to a new simple, easy to use Contact form, we have redone every aspect of our site to make it easier for you, the customer, to get what you want as fast as possible. We have also added a new Wholesale page detailing how business owners can bring the joys of our handmade soaps to their local customers, in addition to adding Soap Logs available for purchase for the first time online.
I am excited about all the changes we have done to the website, and hope that we have made the experience of browsing and purchasing our products as easy as we can. If you have any suggestions or feedback please don't hesitate to use the Contact Page, or feel free to email us directly at email@example.com. I hope you enjoy the new site as much as we do!
