At huckleberry picking time us Idahoans are careful to watch out for the bears as we trek up into the mountains to gather these luscious berries. It takes some real effort to collect these tiny purple/blue spheres of juicy goodness. And the tales of looking up only to find a bear nearby collecting them as well - well, they aren't tall tales.
