As with most cold process shampoo bars, it is recommended that you rinse at least once a week with a mix of 50/50 apple cider vinegar and water so as to seal the hair shaft. This provides a natural chemical free rinse that is healthy for your hair and scalp.
Please Note: As this soap is poured into the molds, it starts to thicken quickly and does not pour perfectly even. This can cause small variations in bar size and shape from one bar to the next. Most bars weigh 5 ounces, however some can weigh slightly more or slightly less.

I recently made a purchase with multiple products. The packaging was fantastic. The sample box were all individually, packaged with recycled paper packaging annd box, all with description labels on each one. As was the full size soap and shampoo bars. This company has thought of a lot of details that other companies would not bother with making this very user and environmentally friendly most people don’t notice the details but they truly do matter.

Sorry I wasn't at all happy with my purchase....I felt it wasn't enough oils for fragrance...so I tried it in the shower and no better....I usually get mine from basin in downtown Disney or Tarpon springs FL. But I thought I would try yours...sorry
Thank you so much for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that the scent wasn't as strong as you expected for the Natural Shampoo & Body Bar. This bar is scented with pure essential oils, which create a more subtle and natural aroma compared to the stronger fragrance blends often used by larger commercial brands. If one is used to using a more heavily scented product, the difference can feel noticeable. I have found that the perspective of scent strength can vary from nose to nose. Over many years of attending trade shows it's interesting to see one person feel like a soap is overly scented while their friend feels like they can hardly smell anything. In any case I appreciate you giving this handmade soap a try. This bar is also a body bar. Please feel free to use it as a body bar, as it contains skin nourishing oils like olive oil and castor oil and cleanses gently leaving your skin moisturized and soft.
I really like the soap bar shampoo. My hair was oily after 2 days from regular shampoo but as soon as I used the bar shampoo it went away & my hair was so fresh & normal looking. Best shampoo I ever used & vinegar rinse was good idea.

I have been using this shampoo/body bar for a while now. I just use it for my hair and use other Prairie Sage soaps for my body. I love this shampoo, it leaves my hair clean and shiny! I do use a vinegar rinse once a week like suggested.
This shampoo bar is amazing. My hair and scalp have been so much healthier since making the switch. Anxiously waiting to order more!!

This shampoo bar is fantastic. It lathers up quickly and cleans wonderfully. I bought my first bar a year ago and didn't use it much due to the fact I liked my current shampoo. Now, I love it. It lasts a long time. I am hooked.

We discovered the Prarie Sage Soap Company at the Fall Harvest Festival in Twin Falls. We bought 2 Natural Shampoo Bars to try and we loved them. The Eucalyptus and Tea tree oil give them an amazing smell (as well as add some anti fungal properties) and they are surprisingly sudsy. My husband especially loves them. He has very sensitive skin and it is working very well. We were pleased to find it was just as easy to order online and the order was fulfilled very quickly. There was even a little note and some samples included for a personal touch.
I highly recommend the soaps and hair shampoo from prairie safe soaps. Will be reordering. My sons fav for shampoos hair and also uses the shampoo as soap. He says it works better than any soap he's ever used. I try to stay natural and love all the ingredience and great automatic smells of each soap I chose. Thankyou so much.

I was amazed to see that in addition to the shampoo bar I ordered, they included an entire bar of soap's worth of soap samples in different sizes, colors, and scents. I'm excited to try them all out. Loving the shampoo bar. It smells amazing and makes my scalp feel cool and tingly. I actually quit using conditioner and regular shampoo altogether. So far so good! I will definitely be back for more.
I just purchased several more shampoo bars. A couple for me and a couple for gifts. I want friends to know how wonderful these bars are! My hairdresser was very impressed with the ingredients, and uses the shampoo bar now herself. Her husband really likes it to!
