Pompeii - Scrubby Soap

Pompeii - Scrubby Soap
  • $7.00

THE SCENT: This soap contains five essential oils - Lavender, Rosemary, Peppermint, Tea Tree Oil and Eucalyptus.

THE EXPERIENCE:  This bar is for those of you who love a thorough exfoliating experience! And it is a great hand soap for the extra grubby worker in your life. You know who I'm talking about! That grease monkey or that gardener. Our mechanic customers tell me it works great in the shop. Some folks keep this bar handy by the outside spigot for a quick hand wash before coming in from the garden.

In high school I had to do a report on Mt. Vesuvius and it's catastrophic eruption in 79 A.D., which destroyed the city of Pompeii. I was so captivated by this story and the pictures that accompany it. The story of Pompeii impressed me so much that I made a soap that is loaded with a hefty amount of ultra fine ground pumice. Pumice is created when super heated, highly pressurized rock is violently ejected from a volcano. A load of fine pumice is what makes this soap exfoliating which rejuvenates the skin. I've also stirred in some ground loofah to get to deeply embedded grime.  Made with goat milk for extra creamy skin pampering lather.

*The appearance of this soap varies slightly from batch to batch. The current batch is stamped with the Prairie Sage Soap stamp.

Weight: 4 ounces

Ingredients: olive oil, water/goat milk, coconut oil, sodium hydroxide (used for the process but no longer exists in the final soap), essential oils, colorant (oxides)

PSS soap is superfatted. This means there is excess oil stirred into the soap which cannot be converted into soap. This produces an extra mild, gentle and moisturizing soap.

paraben-free, phthalate-free, detergent-free, cruelty-free

HOLIDAY SEASON SHIPPING NOTICE: The Amazonian drop ship companies have conditioned people to be able to get a lost or stolen order replaced or refunded.  As a very small business this is not affordable for PSS. Unfortunately we cannot control what happens with your order after it leaves us. We are more than happy to provide you with all of the information you will need to file a claim with the postal service should your package not arrive. Quite often the case is that even though you've been notified that it was delivered, it was not. Please give it a few extra days to arrive before filing a claim.
